New Door County Flea Market Opens May 13

Located on the grounds of Door County Self Storage, just three miles south of Sturgeon Bay, the new Door County Flea Market brings buyers and sellers together for the adventure of bargaining and treasure hunting. The Door County Flea Market hatched one day last winter during a casual conversation between Danny Heinritz and Phil Young.

There are 44 indoor vendor spaces that measure 10×10 feet, and two more spaces at 12×24 feet. Outdoor booths are unlimited at 10×12 feet or 12×24 feet. Anyone is welcome to set up a booth for a day, a weekend or for all six weekends. Vendor information, forms and prices are available at DC-Flea.com. Currently they offer vendors a limited number of free, on-site campsites on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Flea Market will open May 13, 11 am – 6 pm, and May 14 & 15, 9 am – 5 pm. Buyers and vendors are encouraged to meet at successive markets to be held on the second weekend of each month through October.

Felix the flea, a logo designed by Kati Bailey of Graphixers, welcomes visitors to the flea market and will soon represent the market on t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags and coffee cups.
