New Playground Equipment Fundraiser at Peninsula State Park

Last spring, Peninsula State Park was forced to remove the playground at Nicolet Bay Beach due to rotting wood. This left the Park with no beach playground for the children. Now the Friends of Peninsula State Park is embarking on a project to build a new, all-inclusive playground. The design provides an inclusive positive outdoor experience that will improve mental, physical and emotional health for all children.

A generous donor has agreed to match donations up to $40,000. Construction is planned to begin in spring 2022 with completion ready for play during the 2022 summer season.
