The Jacksonport Craft Cottage currently features handcrafted wood Amish quilt designs. Made by a young Amish couple from the Midwest, these “House Quilts” are hand painted on plywood and appropriate for indoor/outdoor display.

Pen Park Searches for Talking Tombstones Volunteers
Talking Tombstones, Peninsula State Park’s annual “living history” event, is scheduled for July 23, 10 am – 12 pm. The Park needs volunteers to share the story of a family member or friend buried at Blossomburg Cemetery.

Internship Available at “Peninsula Pulse”
The Peninsula Pulse is looking for individuals seeking to gain experience and an education through an internship for the summer/fall of 2013. An Art & Entertainment Intern will assist in the organization of the Pulse’s Annual Hal Grutzmacher Writers’ Exposé & Photography Jubilee and will perform tasks in the production of the Art & Entertainment section in each issue of the Pulse, including writing small features about entertainment and the occasional feature story.
