Nicolet Beach Concession Wins Gold Seal Award

The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks have issued the 2014 recipients for their coveted Gold Seal Awards, and Nicolet Beach Concession (NBC), located inside Peninsula State Park, was awarded “Best Concession in a Park.” Hosting a snack bar, a clothing store, a camp store, and bike and boat rentals, NBC is open mid-May through mid-October. An awards ceremony will be held in Madison on Oct. 11. Peter Parsons, partner and operator of NBC, will be joined by Kelli Bruns, Peninsula State Park Superintendent, to accept the award.
