“No Exit” at The Depot

Once again Rogue Theater presents Jean-Paul Sartre’s thought provoking No Exit. Directed by Bill Bauernfeind, featuring cast members Marcel Bruyere, Carrie Counihan, Pam Johnson and Renee Kujawski – this play could be your ultimate horror story.

Three people – two women and a man – find themselves in a sparsely furnished room. The lights are always on, there are no mirrors, but there’s plenty of heat. Though there is a door, they come to realize there is really no exit for any of them – for eternity. They find themselves with nothing to do except interact with each another and participate in exposing each individual’s darkest, most damning secrets. Twists and turns between characters coming to grip with why they received their sentences, only to conclude that, “Hell is other people.”

This play is showing at The Depot Performing Arts Center, 341 N. 3rd Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, Oct. 23 – Nov. 2. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30pm, and Sunday performances begin at 2 pm. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by calling The Depot at 920.818.0816.
