Nor-Door Sport & Cyclery Celebrates Anniversary with Open House

Nor-Door Sport & Cyclery celebrates its 30th anniversary during the Fourth of July weekend with an open house, bike giveaway and sale.

When Ron and Barb Merkel opened their small bike shop in the converted garage of their home in Fish Creek in 1983, they started a family legacy. During the past three decades Nor-Door has grown steadily thanks to a reputation for quality products, fair pricing and customer service. That tradition continues under the watchful eyes of their son Brian “Stretch” Merkel, his wife Melissa and a staff of experienced bike experts.

The celebration kicks-off July 5 with a mega-sale and open house from 7 – 9 pm. Refreshments will be served and guests can meet the Merkel Family and Trek factory representatives. Everyone who attends is eligible to win a new Trek bike courtesy of Nor-Door and FM 106.9 The Lodge. The drawing takes place July 6, 4 pm. Also on July 6 from 10 am – 2 pm, Trek factory demo rides will be offered.
