Adeline graduated from Gibraltar High School and continued her education at Door County Normal School to become a teacher.  Adeline taught two years in Juddville, grades 1 through 8.  On June 30, 1951, she married the love of her life, Harry A. After raising their children, Adeline took a position at Sevastopol School teaching 4th grade.  She later taught in the Junior High School, retiring in 1993.  While teaching, she continued her own education, earning a BS in education at UW-Oshkosh.   Adeline and Harry also operated a cherry and apple orchard for several years.  In retirement, she enjoyed extensive travel with her husband and family, creating wonderful memories.

Adeline’s greatest passion in life was her faith in Jesus.  She was a long time and active member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay where she served on the New Member Team, the Altar Guild, Ladies Aid and the Outreach Committee.   Adeline wanted everyone to know Jesus.
