Obituary: Alice J. Volden

Alice Volden, 85, of Sister Bay, died peacefully at Hearthside Assisted Living. Alice was born to Carl and Emelia Carlson. She met Marvin Volden at Young Adult Fellowship at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Chicago and they were married there on May 14, 1955. Alice and Marvin retired to Sister Bay in 1989 where they built a log home on the family property. Alice had a generous heart. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Services were held March 28. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church (P.O. box 115, Baileys Harbor, WI 54202) or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org).
