Obituary: Helen Marie Seiler

Helen Marie Seiler died peacefully at home attended by her daughter Linda and numerous angels on Sunday May 6, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born June 18, 1927 in Baileys Harbor.

On March 12, 1946 she married Sylvester ‘Sy’ Seiler at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Baileys Harbor. They grew more in love each day, and exemplified that love by putting God first, each other, and then their children. She spent her selfless life caring about and for others even though her life was wrought with many hardships.

Helen is survived by her daughter Linda Jarman, siblings Carl (Jan), Ervin, Jerry (Julie) Peil, Esther (Chet) Gauger, Darlene LaBombard, and grandson Sean Seiler.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Elsie (Johnson) Peil, husband Sy on April 14, 1983. Children S.E. ‘Gene‘, Gloria, James, Steven, and Jeffrey Seiler. Beloved ‘son’ Glenn Jarman, and furry grandbabies Barney, Graffiti, and Henry. Siblings Ralph, Harold, Donald, and Judith Peil, Margaret (Doug) Sawyer, and Deloris (Ivan) Heling.

A private committal service of her cremains will be held on Monday June 18, 2018 at Little Sister Cemetery with Pastor Gary Scharrig officiating. Casperson Funeral Home assisted Linda with arrangements.
