Obituary: Yolanda “Londa” Doney

Yolanda “Londa” Doney found eternal peace on April 20, 2018 at the age of 83. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allen; parents, Consuelo & Luciano Benavides, Sr.; brother, Lou Benavides, Jr. She was a devoted, loving mother to her 6 children: Deborah (Pat) Hellen, Kevin (Rachel), Russell, Walt (Sherry) of Casper, WY, Philip (Michelle), Andrew. She is survived by her dear sister Stella Martin. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Londa was born in Pearsall, Texas then raised in Dilley. As a child, her family settled in Milwaukee. Later she met her husband-to-be and together raised a loving, fun-filled family. After her retirement, she settled in Baileys Harbor, enjoying a life of leisure. Londa had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a fabulous hostess. She was also a friend who offered an open door to all.
