Opening of YMCA Child Development Center

The Door County YMCA opened the Child Development Center in Sturgeon Bay. The property was purchased in February and was renovated, updated and equipped with new furnishings, amenities and services. The new program center is licensed to care for 92 children in the community. Angie Bosman will be the new Director of Child Development with more than 14 years of childcare experience.

“We are overjoyed to finally bring YMCA childcare to Door County,” said Dan Powell, President/CEO of the Y. “We have been working on this project for more than a year.”
