Opening with New Works

“In Dying Light” by Gary Hanks.

On May 1, Woodwalk Gallery, located just south of Egg Harbor, begins its 22nd season, open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Fifty-three artists in all media are represented, highlighted by the ethereal landscape paintings of owner/artist Margaret Lockwood.

This season there will be: glass work from Doug and Barb Henderson, ceramics by Simon Levin, jewelry by Robin Fleming, whimsical assemblages by Jim Rericha and David Kwasny, handmade paper sculptures by Kirsten Christianson, large metal “from-the-soul” sculptures by Dan Bresnahan, and more.

The initial exhibit features new works by painters Margaret Lockwood, Gary Hanks and Rebecca Crowell. The opening reception is set for May 24, 4:30 – 7 pm, with beverages, food, music and artist talks at 5:45 pm.

Woodwalk includes Lockwood’s straw bale studio, a field labyrinth, teepee frame wisteria arbor, two concert series, and the resonate silo space.
