Plum Bottom Has the Sparkle and Shine

Let Plum Bottom help you ring in the new year with new jewelry, Dec. 29 and 30, 10 am to 4 pm. See the latest work from Lara Knutson, Michelle Pressler and Aimee Rivka, and add some sparkle to your New Year’s Eve outfit. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine from von Stiehl Winery or a cup of Door County Coffee while browsing the jewelry.

Knutson is working with a glass fiber she developed that incorporates 50,000 microscopic glass beads per inch. This fiber is knit together with other iridescent and metallic fibers to create necklaces that sparkle and shine.

Pressler works with tiny diamonds to create delicate pieces of jewelry. Woven with sterling and 14K-gold fill, Pressler’s jewelry also features black, blue and grey diamonds.

Rivka crochets sterling and 14K-gold-fill wire around a variety of gemstones: a unique setting for a unique look. Come in and see her classic druzy styles as well as her newest quartz-crystal collection.

Plum Bottom Gallery is open 10 am to 4 pm Friday through Tuesday; the gallery is closed Wednesday and Thursday. To visit, go 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay or five minutes south of Egg Harbor on Highway 42 to 4999 Plum Bottom Road. Call 920.743.2819 for more information.
