Popelka Leads Glass-Techniques Course in Thailand 

Artist Residency Thailand invited Sturgeon Bay glass artist Jeremy Popelka to design and organize a three-week course for the Prem International School, north of Chiang Mai, Thailand.

During May, Popelka will work with established and emerging Thai glass artists who have varied focuses in glass techniques. The program also includes involvement from Silpakorn University and Bangkok Glass.

The residency will conclude with a large-scale, permanent sculpture that will incorporate the glass components made by the students and visiting artists. Follow Popelka’s journey at facebook.com/jeremy.popelka.
