Pat Olson, a well-known local artist, will be Hope Church Gallery’s featured artist for October.

Olson is a self-taught artist and Door County native. Growing up, she was inspired by the beauty of the peninsula and by the community of local artists. Through the years she has been involved in many areas of art – author, teacher, designer and business owner. Now retired from all commercial work, she is concentrating on fine art and plein air painting. She is now an artist with no deadlines or pressure.

The exhibit at Hope Church includes some of her vibrant pastels. Hope Church Gallery in Sturgeon Bay is open 9 am – 1 pm, Tuesday through Friday.
