Rental Assistance Program Offered to Prevent Evictions

To help prevent struggling Door County residents from being evicted during the pandemic and resulting recession, the Door County Community Foundation and United Way of Door County have partnered with Lakeshore CAP to offer an expanded Rental Assistance Program with support from the Door County Emergency Response Fund.

You may be eligible for assistance if all of these criteria apply to you: You lease an apartment, duplex or single-family home in Door County as your sole residence; you’ve experienced a substantial reduction in income due to the COVID-19 health crisis and resulting economic recession; and you have virtually exhausted your savings and are now unable to meet your financial obligations.More information and application materials are available at RentReliefDoorCounty.org.
