Baileys Harbor Broadband Meetings Postponed

At this time the Broadband Workshop series scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 at 10 am and 6:30 pm at Björklunden, and April 15 at 1 pm at The Ridges and 6:30 pm at Björklunden have been postponed. They we will rescheduled at a future time.

Bertram Communications, the company tasked with making broadband fiber available to all premises in the Town of Baileys Harbor, said it is still on target to fulfill its contract with the town by the end of November 2024.

That was the word for more than 40 people who showed up last week for informational sessions conducted by Bertram Communications, the Baileys Harbor Library and the Baileys Harbor Community Association.

Bertram Communications continues to urge people to sign up to allow access to property and sign up for access to broadband – or to opt out of connecting. People who opt out will have a larger connection fee if they decide later to connect, according to Bertram.
