Ride-Share Driver Information Sessions May 30

Prospective ride-share drivers can learn about driving for Uber and Lyft at two sessions on May 30. The free classes will teach the basics of driving for the ride-share companies and driver best practices. Attendees will be able to register to drive at the classes if they have a smartphone, driver’s license, Social Security number, car insurance and vehicle registration.

The first session will take place at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Sister Bay at 1 pm, followed by the second session at Door County Brewing Co. in Baileys Harbor at 5 pm. The Door County Alcohol and Other Drug Coalition, Sister Bay Advancement Association and Baileys Harbor Community Association are sponsoring the sessions.
