Ridges Flea Market Set For September 26

The Ridges Sanctuary is hosting its annual Flea Market on Saturday, September 26 from 8 am – 2 pm. The market will be set up in the green space behind the Ridges Nature Center, with vendors selling a variety of new and gently used items. Ridges volunteers will be selling homemade muffins and Door County coffee during the morning hours as well as hot sandwiches at midday. Vendor spaces for the sale are available for $20, with all proceeds retained by the individual vendor.

“Reduce, Reuse and Recycle” is a slogan often used to address our problem of too much stuff. Flea markets and rummage sales help us to do that – they reduce the amount of goods going to our landfills, items are reused by new owners, in essence recycling the materials. Vendors at the market will offer antiques, collectibles, books, car parts, nautical items, and many other items.

The Ridges Nature Center is located just north of Baileys Harbor on 8828 County Road Q. For more information, please call 920.839.2802 or visit http://www.RidgesSanctuary.org.
