Salsa with J-Ro Now Offered in Algoma

Jeff Robison (J-Ro), Latin dance instructor and performer, is pleased to offer an eight-lesson salsa dance series at Algoma Parks and Recreation starting Feb. 21.

This salsa series consists of eight progressive group lessons, held on Thursdays at 7 pm. Each lesson is one hour and will be followed by an instructor-assisted practice session from 8 – 8:30 pm.

J-Ro’s Beginner Level 1 Salsa Series covers steps, patterns, turns, styling, shines and the principles of lead and follow. J-Ro stated, “This is a great opportunity for people to learn Salsa, a very accessible form of dance with Lessons, Socials and Club Nights readily available locally and Nationwide.”

The cost is $100 per person for the eight-lesson series and practice sessions. The total is due at time of enrollment.
