Salsa with J-Ro

Beginner Salsa Dance Lesson Series will begin at the Music & Art School of Door County when 10 individuals are signed up. (No partner required.) Once classes start, enrollment will be closed and drop-ins midway through the series will not be allowed.

The Beginner Level 1 Salsa Series will consist of four progressive group lessons and will be held every Monday from 7:30 – 8:30 pm for four weeks. This series, which costs $40, will cover steps, patterns, turns, styling, shines and the principles of lead and follow. The series will be taught by Sturgeon Bay-based dance instructor and Salsero J-Ro, who has taught or danced in various parts of the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean.

J-Ro will also offer drop-in classes at The Draft Haus in Sturgeon Bay every other Tuesday from 8 – 8:45 pm. Salsa music and open dancing will take place until close.
