School And Public Presentations By Duncan Tonatiuh

Every year, the Door County school library media specialists organize a presentation by a published author for the local schools. This year’s presenter is picture book author and illustrator Duncan Tonatiuh. 

Tonatiuh has published 14 fiction and non-fiction books and won numerous awards for his writing and illustrations. His work focuses primarily on Mexican and Mexican-American history and culture.

Tonatiuh will visit Door County schools during the last week of February. He will also hold a public presentation on Feb. 25, 2-3 pm, at Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.
