Settlement Shops Farmers Market Opens for the Season

The Settlement Shops Farmers Market in Fish Creek opened for the season on June 12; the market runs every Wednesday, 9:30 am – 1:30 pm, through Oct. 16.

The usual locally-grown fresh produce, fruit, flowers and plants will be part of the farm market along with some new vendors providing a variety of products including local honey, maple syrup, jams and jellies, artisan breads, marinated olives, taffy, handmade soap and handmade pottery.

Sweetie Pies will make homemade quiches for lunch on market days, and local musicians are invited to be part of the day and play their music.

The weekly farmers market is held along the path that divides the shops and art galleries. For more information call 868.4135 or watch for the farmers market sign at the Settlement Shops, located one mile south of Fish Creek on Highway 42.
