Sherwood Point Holds Grand Opening Pig Roast with Live Music Oct. 8

Sherwood Point Grill opened Sept. 9 in the former Fishing Hole location at the hands of Eric & Margaret Leyendecker. Just shy of their one-month anniversary, Sherwood Point Grill will feature a Grand Opening Pig Roast on Oct. 8. The event begins at 4 pm with live music by Jiffy Slim, followed by “Celtic punk” band Whiskey of the Damned at 5 pm.

Sherwood Point Grill continues on the neighborhood pub vibe that The Fishing Hole embodied, along with featured bar food dishes such as the Hangover Burger, with homemade sausage gravy, and Sheboygan-style brats featuring authentic Sheboygan hard rolls from Johnston’s Bakery and Johnsonville brats.

However, the Grand Opening spotlights pulled pork from a slow roasted hog, cooked on-site overnight. Raffles and other giveaways will be sprinkled throughout the event.

Open Wednesday through Sunday, Sherwood Point Grill is located in the heart of Idlewild at 6962 County M, Sturgeon Bay.
