Sibilsky Juried Into Healing Power Of Art And Artists Show

Algoma Sculptor Bren Sibilsky was recently juried into The Healing

Power of Art: Love, Peace, Unity and Hope 2023, an exhibit by Manhattan Arts International initiative The Healing Power of Art and Artists.

The exhibition highlights healing, hopeful works. Sibilsky’s entry, Butterfly Love, speaks to “the powerful transformation from constriction and things hidden […] into the wings of freedom built from faith,” according to Sibilsky’s artist statement.

Sibilsky is a previous winner in this show, receiving several Awards of Excellence, a Best in Show in 2007, and a first-place cash award in 2016.

“Bren’s emotive story-telling process through sculpture is shared through contrast, balance and harmony,” Manhattan Arts International director Renée Phillips said.
