Sign Up Summer Workers for Social Security Cards

With a large number of Summer Work Travel students arriving in July, Destination Door County has worked with the Green Bay Social Security office to organize a Social Security card application day for these students. It will be held July 26, by appointment only, at the Ephraim Village Hall, 9996 Hwy 42.

BridgeUSA host employers with first-time participants who need to apply for their Social Security number are encouraged to sign up their students for one of the 10-minute appointments, for one to six students at a time. The 10-day waiting period is waived for outreach events. New arrivals can check in to SEVIS and go to their sign-up appointment the same day.

To help students prepare for an appointment, contact Destination Door County to get a checklist of the requirements, including original documents and completed forms paperclipped together.

To request an appointment, email [email protected] with these details: business name, number of students, driver’s cell number, main contact, your email, country of student(s)’ origin, program sponsor(s) and preferred time for the appointment, which is subject to availability. The time options are 10-11 am, 11 am – 12 pm, 1-2 pm or 2-3 pm.
