Sister Bay Hosts “Capture the Spirit” Festival

Visitors of “Capture the Spirit” create holiday cards in the Sister Bay Village Hall.

Sister Bay will host a weekend of holiday festivities during their annual “Capture the Spirit” on Nov. 26 and 27.
The village lights will glow brightly Friday, Nov. 26 beginning at 4:30 pm with the lighting of luminaries around downtown and the Village Christmas Tree at the corner of Mill Road and N. Bay Shore Drive (Hwy. 42). Light refreshments will be served at the tree lighting. After the lighting, Father Christmas will lead the children to the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Library for storytelling and crafts. The Door County Trolley will offer free rides around the village to shoppers and visitors from 3:30 – 6 pm.
Families are welcome to decorate holiday cookies at the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Station on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 3 – 5 pm. The Family Centers of Door County and the Sister Bay Advancement Association will sponsor this sugary event.
Visitors are encouraged to shop locally for holiday gifts at the annual Friends of Gibraltar Arts & Crafts Show inside the Village Hall from Nov. 26 – 28, 10 am – 5 pm each day.
