Sister Bay Ice Rink Now Open

The Teresa K. Highlander Community Ice Rink in Sister Bay opened over the Christmas holiday and was filled with skaters.

The rink will be open this winter as weather allows. When it’s cold enough to make ice, manager Cody Bolton expects to have the rink open each day, with limited access to the warming house and amenities. 

The warming house, skate and equipment rentals, and concessions will be available Monday – Thursday, 4-8 pm; Friday, 4-8 pm; Saturday, 10 am – 8 pm; and Sunday, 10 am – 6 pm. The main rink will be reserved for the Northern Door Broomball League on Wednesdays at 6 pm and for pickup hockey on Saturdays at 6 pm. Hours are subject to change based on weather conditions and  unforeseen circumstances. Skating and hockey are allowed at the participants’ own risk outside of posted hours unless snow removal or flooding is taking place.
