Sister Bay Seeks Trustee

Sister Bay is looking for someone to fill a vacant seat on the village board. Mary Lyons resigned at the Dec. 20, 2022 meeting because she has moved out of the village.

Any village resident interested in an appointment to fill Lyons’ term, which expires in April 2024, should contact Village Administrator Julie Schmelzer with a letter of interest and biography/resume by Jan. 10, 2023.  Items can be emailed to [email protected].

The Village Board will also have openings for Trustee positions at the April 2023 Spring Election.  Incumbent Trustees Scott Baker and Chad Kodanko have filed non-candidacy paperwork and will not be seeking another term.  Residents interested in the application process to run for Village Board and have their name placed on the ballot for April should contact Heidi Teich, Village Clerk.  The deadline for submitting the required paperwork is 5 pm on Jan. 3, 2023.
