Something for Every Garden

The Door County Master Gardeners Association will hold its annual plant sale at the Peninsular Research Station, 4312 Hwy. 42, Sturgeon Bay on May 30, 9 am – Noon. Local gardeners will want to come and see the terrific variety of plants that they have for sale this year. There will be annuals, vegetables, herbs, a great selection of perennials and some wildflowers. In keeping with some of the latest gardening trends, there will be ornamental edibles, plants for containers, miniature garden plants and décor, picture frames and hypertufa. In short, there is something available for every kind of home garden.

All proceeds from the sale provide support for the Master Gardeners continuing public education programs which are very popular during the winter months, The Garden Door, and other horticultural projects in the county. The Master Gardener Volunteers will present a free plant to each garden enthusiast who attends the sale and then visits the on-site Master Gardener display garden, The Garden Door.
