Southern Door Schools Hosts Grandparents and Senior Special Guest Day

The fall elementary and middle schools’ Grandparents and Senior Special Guest Day will be held on Nov. 20, 8:30 – 10:30 am at Southern Door Schools. Elementary guests will participate in classroom activities and attend a concert in the auditorium with musician Randy Peterson. Middle school guests are invited to attend a carnival with students in the Eagle gym sponsored by the Eagle Club.

Grandparents and special senior guests should check in at the elementary/middle school office between 8:30 – 8:45 am. Lunch will not be available to grandparents’ and senior guests. Since it is an early release day, any grandparent wishing to take their grandchild home with them will need a signed note from the child’s parent.

Both schools are collecting items for the needy in our community including donations of gently used clothing and toys and non-perishable food items. Items can be brought to the elementary/middle school office.
