Southern Door Selects Badger State Delegates

Southern Door High School has selected its junior-class Badger State delegates for 2022: Greta Gutschow will represent the school at Badger Girls State June 19-24 at UW-Oshkosh, and Hunter Malvitz will attend Badger Boys State June 12-18 at UW-Eau Claire.

The weeklong program teaches the principles of democracy in a representative government. Attendees form cities, run for election and enact laws and ordinances with the goal of learning the importance of voting and its long-term effects.

The Forestville American Legion Auxiliary Post 372 and the Forestville American Legion Post 372 are sponsoring the delegates.
