St. John Bosco Revives ‘Gala Of Giving’

Ticket sales have begun for the St. John Bosco Catholic School Gala of Giving fundraiser, which is back for the first year since the pandemic.

The event, which annually raised more than $50,000, will take place 5-7:30 pm Saturday, March 2 at Corpus Christi Social Hall, 811 Juniper St., Sturgeon Bay.

Music Masters Entertainment will entertain during the event, which will include a dinner catered by Sonny’s Pizzeria (beef tips, broasted chicken, pasta and salad), beer (sponsored by One Barrel Brewery), a wine bar, raffles with a chance to win up to $5,000 and auctions for items ranging from charter fishing and vacation stays to pontoon rental. Raffle tickets are $20 each, three for $50 and seven for $100. Tickets are $50 each which include dinner and a drink ticket, and available at the school office or by calling 920.743.4144.

This community event will raise funds to benefit the school’s educational programs, security/technology and facilities. St. John Bosco Catholic School, a 4K through eighth-grade institution, is the only Catholic school in Door County.
