Starting the Journey

It will hardly be a Black Friday at Brew Coffeehouse in Ellison Bay between 3 – 5:30 pm on Nov. 28 — perhaps a multicolored Friday at the book signing of artist Franne Dickinson’s new color-filled memoir, Stay at the Party Long… at play in the ARTS. At 4 pm, Dickinson will read passages from the book.

The book features color reproductions of more than 80 of Dickinson’s signature post-impressionist works as it chronicles her artistic career and philosophy. Dickinson says, “This book is my way of encouraging others to discover their inner artist and start their own journey in the arts.”

The book is available at select local bookstores and gift shops, including Dickinson’s own Toe Path Studio in Ephraim. For more information visit doorcountyartistauthorFranneDickinson.com.
