Student Wins Park-Sticker Contest

Brookfield East High School senior Brooke Salomone has won the 2023 Wisconsin State Park and Forest vehicle admission sticker design contest.

Her design – featuring a compass depicting the recreational themes available throughout Wisconsin’s state-park system – will be printed on annual vehicle-admission stickers and displayed on more than 500,000 vehicles.

Now in its 32nd year, the annual design contest, sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, is open to high-school–age students who attend the state’s public, private or parochial schools or who are homeschooled.

Materials for the 2024 sticker-design contest are now available, and students may submit entries through April 30, 2023, at midnight. Visit dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/designcontest to review the contest’s guidelines and details.
