Sturgeon Bay High School Graduates Receive $12,000 in Scholarships

The Thomas J. Webb Memorial Scholarship has announced a total of $12,000 in scholarships to be awarded to Sturgeon Bay High School 2017 graduates at the school’s Annual Honor Assembly in June. These awards will consist of three $4,000 scholarships.

Sturgeon Bay graduating seniors who meet the following criteria – a participant in varsity sports, a minimum 3.0 grade point average and plan to attend a four-year accredited university or college – are eligible to apply at the school’s guidance office.

Applicants will be asked to submit information about their involvement in community and school activities along with a 250-word letter stating their goals and qualifications.

Applications are available at the Sturgeon Bay High School guidance office. Completed applications much be returned to the guidance office before April 15, 2016.

These scholarships are in honor of Thomas J. Webb, a 1981 Sturgeon Bay graduate who died of cancer in 1999. This is the 17th year that scholarships have been awarded. For more information call 920.743.6926.
