Sturgeon Bay Lions Sell “Roses for Spring”

Sturgeon Bay Lions are selling “Roses for Spring” again this year. Lions’ primary activity is blindness prevention and sight conservation. Money collected from this sale is used locally to help our neighbors who cannot afford an eye examination and new glasses. Among other charities, proceeds from this sale also go to support the Wisconsin Lions Camp. The camp, near Rosholt, Wisconsin, provides a free camping experience for the blind and visually impaired, deaf and hard of hearing, mild cognitively disabled and children with diabetes. Roses are $15 per dozen and can be purchased by contacting Lion Greg Virlee (920.743.8359) or by visiting sturgeonbaylions.org. Roses will be delivered for free on April 12th & 13th.
