Sunshine House Presents Awards at Annual Meeting and Dinner

Sunshine House Inc. celebrated 45 years of service at their Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner at Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center on May 2, with more than 200 people in attendance. The program for 2016, “Spreading Our Roots,” was presented by Cindy Weber, CEO of Sunshine House. Weber highlighted the rich past of Sunshine House and the exciting future which includes expanded services of daytime health, social and emotional support services for people living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and many other aging related health issues.

The 2016 awards went to: Female Outstanding Achievement Award – Joy Struck; Male Outstanding Achievement Award – Mark Weldon; Community Partnership Award – HELP of Door County; Community Service Award – Schopf’s Hilltop Dairy and Dairy View Country Store; Volunteer of the Year – Rob Rock; Staff Member of the Year – Jenni Jorgenson; and Retiring Board Members – Rob Rock and Gladys Schommer.
