Three Area Banks Named In Top 250 In US

Newsweek named North Shore Bank, Nicolet National Bank and Associated Bank among the top 250 of America’s Best Regional Banks 2024, and among the best 10 headquartered in Wisconsin. 

To compile its rankings, Newsweek, along with market data research firm Plant-A Insights, conducted a study of performance indicators of more than 9,440 financial institutions, and surveyed more than 35,000 customers. 

Associated Bank (Associated Banc-Corp) has total assets of $39 billion and is the largest Wisconsin-based bank in terms of assets. It has two branches in Sturgeon Bay and one in Sister Bay.

Nicolet National Bank, with more than $8 million in assets, has two branches in Sturgeon Bay, and locations in Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Sister Bay.

North Shore Bank mutual savings bank has assets of $2.5 billion and 43 offices, including Sister Bay and Sturgeon Bay.
