Tickets Available for Rib Fest

Tickets are on sale for the first-annual Door County Rib Fest, which is set for Saturday, October 3 from 4 – 8 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

This event, sponsored by the Neighbor-to-Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County, will feature some of the peninsula’s finest cooks sharing their signature ribs. Tasters will be voting for their favorite ribs in both professional and amateur categories. Participating in this event in the professional category are:  Casey’s Inn, Pelletier’s, Sonny’s Pizzeria, The Bone Yard, Mojo Rosa’s, and John Henry’s. The amateur division includes competitors Earl Arbter, Mark Kramer, Colleen Crocker MacMillin, Ed Evenson, and Bill Weber.

In addition to the food, the event is featuring a DJ and karaoke, beverages sponsored by Flanigan Distribution, door prizes, and silent auction items from local businesses.
