Top Pickleball Pros Coming to Sevastopol Saturday

The Door County Pickleball Club is hosting top Pickleball professional players Lea Jansen and Andrea Koop to Door County for a weekend of clinics and pro demonstrations on Saturday, June 24.

Lea Jansen is the 3^rd best female Pickleball player in the world and Andrea Koop is the 8^th best female Pickleball player. Both of these athletes hail from Michigan and are looking forward to arriving in Door County.

“We are extremely fortunate to have this caliber of players come to Door County,” said Jay Renstrom, president of the Door County Pickleball Club.

The appearances show that Door County is a leading Pickleball destination not only in Wisconsin, but the Midwest, Renstrom said.

On Saturday, June 24, clinics will be held for Advanced Beginners, Intermediate players, and Advanced Players and on Sunday, June 25th (pending weather), Lea and Andrea will hold a pro demonstration and take questions followed by a private, “play with the pro” sessions.

These clinics will be held at the newest Pickleball location in Door County which is located at the town of Sevastopol Park. There are still a couple of spots remaining for nearly all ability levels.
