Trillium Quilt Guild Presents Wendy Butler-Berns

Art quilter Wendy Butler-Berns of Lake Mills Wisconsin will be presenting to the Trillium Quilt Guild on Thursday, July 29 at 6:30 pm. The lecture, “Capering With Creativity and Our Quilts” will take place at the Sister Bay Fire Station.

Using a power point presentation and show and tell of various quilts, Butler-Berns will offer a variety of ideas that have successfully helped her to reach beyond the “cookie cutter quilt.” Guests are welcome to attend with a $5 fee.

On Friday, July 30, Wendy’s workshop “Captivating Coneflower” will be held at the Sister Bay Fire Station from 9 am – 4 pm. Participants are invited to learn the process of creating simple pictorial quilts from a photograph or picture. The workshop is based on techniques featured in her book Photo Album Quilts.
