Uncork Summer Returns on June 22, 2019

Door County’s only foodie festival is celebrating its sixth anniversary with new food vendors and the soft launch of an associated, low-key cheese festival. Scheduled for June 22, Uncork Summer (uncorksummer.com) will once again take place on the grounds of Wickman House in Ellison Bay.

This year’s event features 20 food vendors and sponsor booths, plus wines, local ciders, craft beers and handcrafted cocktails in the Wickman House bar tent. Jazz vocalist Erin Krebs and her combo will perform on the Uncork Music Stage throughout the day.

This year’s festival includes the launch of the Door County Cheese Festival, featuring Wisconsin cheesemakers as both food vendors and participants in the event’s Marketplace tent.

Free parking is available at the Liberty Grove Historical Society property at the top of the Ellison Bay hill at the south end of the village. Free trolleys will ferry visitors from the parking areas to the Wickman House grounds, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm.

There is a $10 admission fee; tickets for purchasing food and refreshments are $5 each.
