United Way Youth Board Members Announced

United Way of Door County announces the addition of new youth board members. Sturgeon Bay High School juniors Samantha Moeller, Caitlin Reichel, and Kelsey Smith were each elected to serve a one-year term.

Ten years ago, United Way locally changed their policy to add youth to their board. “We felt that this was important for several reasons,” said Amy Kohnle, Executive Director. “Many of our programs serve teens, and we wanted to hear their voice. Also, we believe that this is a great learning opportunity for local teens.”
