Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3088 to Hold Annual Buddy Poppy Drive

Sturgeon Bay Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3088 will hold its annual Buddy Poppy drive July 31 and Aug. 1 at Main Street Market in Egg Harbor, and at Pick ’n Save, Econofoods and Walgreens in Sturgeon Bay. All funds raised will go to assist veterans and their families.

Red poppy flowers symbolize the sacrifices made by soldiers in the fight against Germany during WWI and commemorate civilians and military personnel who lost their lives in wars.
