VFW Posts Announce Patriots Pen Winners

VFW Post 8337 of Ellison Bay and VFW Post 9290 of Baileys Harbor recently sponsored the Veterans of Foreign Wars Patriots Pen Contest at Gibraltar Area Schools. The theme was “What Patriotism Means to Me.” Eighth grade winners were Madison Tishler and Alexis Vick. Sixth grade winners were Kayla Scharrig, Nina Sitte, Ben Orsted and Lia Smith. Commander Roger Ohnesorge and Commander Robert Tidball presented the awards to the students.
