Walk-ins Welcome at Fish Creek Thanksgiving

For those looking for Thanksgiving dinner, the old Fish Creek Town Hall is the place to be.

Karen Ciesar and friends have been holding a Thanksgiving dinner in Fish Creek for the past six years (“although we missed one year,” she said).

She is cooking two turkeys, and asks that anyone who attends bring a dish to pass, something to drink and “a song to sing” if you wish.

“We do this for people who would otherwise be alone,” she said. “So instead of sitting by yourself at the Bayside, come and have dinner with us.”

The event begins at noon and runs until dusk.
