Walk to Support HELP of Door County and Victims of Domestic Violence

HELP of Door County is beginning October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month with a free, family-friendly walk, “Walk With Me.” On Oct. 1, anyone who would like to show support of HELP of Door County’s mission to eliminate domestic violence and the victims and children they serve, should be at Martin Park between 4:45 and 5 pm. The walk will go over the Oregon Street bridge to the steel bridge back to Martin Park. Snacks and hot chocolate and apple cider will be available after walking. Prizes will also be given out after the walk. Participants are encouraged to dress in purple, the international color for domestic violence.
