What’s Hardy?

On Nov. 8, the Door County Master Gardeners Association will host its fall seminar, “What’s Hardy? A Perennial Question” with Nancy Nedveck. The day begins with registration at 8:30 am and ends at 2 pm, with a break in the middle for lunch and snacks. The seminar takes place in the Collins Learning Center at the Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay.

Nedveck, co-owner of The Flower Factory in Stoughton, Wis., has been involved in ornamental horticulture all of her adult life. The seminar begins with two programs that emphasize Door County’s unique growing conditions.

Members of the public are invited to attend, but space is limited. The cost of the program for the public is $15, which includes the box lunch. To register, contact Bill or Sarah Freyman at 920.868.1749 or [email protected]. Registration fees are due Oct. 31.
