Why Weekly?

May 23, 1996, the Peninsula Pulse published its first paper.

We believed that everyone had a story, we believed that there was no better place to find and tell stories than in Door County, and we were naive enough to believe that people would read the stories we told.

We were young and we knew a few of you. We found enough stories to fill 10 issues in 1996.

January 3, 2014, the Peninsula Pulse is publishing its first issue of the year.

We still believe that everyone has a story and we still believe there is no better place to find and tell stories than in Door County.

We are a little older and know a few more of you. We will find enough stories to fill 52 issues in 2014.

As long as you keep creating, exploring, trusting, celebrating, thinking, dreaming and collaborating, we will record our time.
